CrocoSofts
About CrocoSofts

Built by one developer,
for everyone tired of SaaS.

CrocoSofts makes utility tools the way software used to be made: local, fast, private, and paid for once. No subscription. No cloud. No games.

The story

I'm the solo developer behind CrocoSofts. I started building these tools out of frustration — not the dramatic kind, just the quiet kind you feel when a file renamer asks you to create an account.

Most utility software today is either freeware with adware bundled in, or a subscription product that treats a $5 tool like it's enterprise software. Neither made sense to me. The tools I wanted were simple, trustworthy, and mine to own.

So I started building them. all offline, all one-time purchase — that's CrocoSofts.

What CrocoSofts stands for

Offline by default

After you download and activate a tool, it never touches the internet again. No telemetry. No crash reports sent home. No license checks against a server. It just works.

$

One-time price, always

Subscriptions make sense for services that cost money to run every month. A file renamer doesn't. $10 once means you own it. No renewal reminders. No price increases. No "we changed our plans" emails.

No accounts, no email

Your Installation Code is a hash of your hardware. We use that to generate your license key. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information.

Privacy by design

We store one thing: your hardware-derived code and the license key that matches it. Nothing else. No analytics on how you use the tools. No crash reports. Nothing leaves your machine.

A note from the developer

I work on CrocoSofts because I genuinely use these tools and I think people deserve software that respects them. That means no dark patterns in the installer, no nagging update dialogs, and no "free trial expired" screens.

If a tool doesn't work on your machine, email me directly and I'll fix it or refund you. There's no support ticket system — just a real person who built the thing and wants it to work for you.
